Essential Oils: How Can They Do All That?
Essential oils work synergistically with our own body helping to repair, and renew it. The "oils" from the plants, being quite similar to our own blood and immune system, actually work quite harmoniously within our body. They have super tiny molecules, too. Essential Oil molecules are so very tiny that one drop contains 40 million trillion molecules (that's approximately 40,000 molecules for each cell in the average human body). They are so small, that they enter your body through the skin and go EVERYWHERE in your body.
Those tiny molecules coupled with their adaptogenic qualities, allows them to pass easily into our blood stream, our cells, organs, etc. Once there, they oxygenate and detoxify our blood and create an environment where pathogens cannot survive! These essential oils also increase circulation, relax muscles, help to repair damaged tissue, and are extremely anti bacterial, anti fungal, anti viral, and anti septic. Almost every essential oil is helpful to the immune system, either directly or indirectly. Some of the beneficial essential oils included in Mountain Magic All Natural Liniment and Bone Magic are listed below:
- For fighting bacterial infection: Lavender, Lemongrass, Rosemary, and Tea Tree
- For protecting against viral infections: Eucalyptus, and Tea Tree
- For killing fungus and mold: Tea Tree, Clove, Citrus Oils
- For increasing the activity of white blood cells to help fight infection: Lavender, Cajeput, Peppermint, and Rosemary
- To help heal wounds: Lavender, Comfrey
"An ounce of Clove Oil has the antioxidant capacity of 450 lbs of carrots, 120 quarts of blueberries, or 48 gallons of beet juice."

ESSENTIAL OILS...• are absorbed by the body 200 times faster than water. • assist in the production of hormones, vitamins and energy. • bring oxygen and nutrients to the tissues. • enter and then leave the body through a different route of the elimination system--colon, urine, lungs, and skin with great efficiency, leaving no toxins behind. • They help to dispose of cell metabolism waste such as carbon dioxide and lactic acid. • increase blood flow and decrease blood viscosity--increasing the efficiency of the immune system.• They are anti-bacterial and anti biotic – strengthening living tissue while killing germs • do not interfere with the body's electromagnetic field. • Essential oils contain 100 components such as terpenes, alcohols, esters, dehydes, ketones, phenols. • They also contain aromatic chemicals which are derived from pherylpropane--the precursors of amino acids which link to make the proteins which provide the building blocks for just about everything in the human body from the smallest enzyme to the skeleton.
*** You should know ... that perfume oils often known as fragrance oils or "fragrances" are not the same as essential oils. Perfume oils and fragrances contain unnatural chemicals and do not provide the therapeutic benefits of essential oils. Make sure the Essential Oils you get for healing are Therapeutic Grade.
"Knit Bone" Magic
"Comfrey" has a common name "Knit Bone", which, according to Wikipedia, "serves as a reminder of its traditional use in healing. The herb contains Allantoin, a cell proliferate that speeds up the natural replacement of body cells. This means that it will promote the swift healing of damaged or injured tissues, as well as maintaining cell growth and preventing diseases. Comfrey has been used to treat a wide variety of ailments ranging from bronchial problems, broken bones, sprains, arthritis, gastric and varicose ulcers, severe burns, acne and other skin conditions. It is said to have bone and teeth building properties for children, and to have value in treating 'many female disorders'. In past times comfrey baths were a popular healing technique for repair of the hymen and thus was said to 'restore virginity'. Constituents of Comfrey also include mucilage, steroidal saponins, tannins, pyrrolizidine alkaloids, inulin, vitamin B12 and proteins".
Down through the ages when people would break bones, tear muscles, or just have great pain, they would make a compress of Comfrey and pack it around the injury. Comfrey, it has been said, would heal them quite rapidly. The Indians of North America used it in the same manner and they called it "Knit Bone", which has become another name by which it is known even today. This name describes very well just how this herb works, ie. to "knit" tissues together, to build and strengthen them.
"Bone Magic" is used often for bones and joints, but works well for many muscle injuries, varicose veins, TMJ, earaches, arthritis, eczema, psoriasis, sore feet, carbuncles, and bone spurs.
Instructions for use:
Apply topically on the skin anywhere you feel pain (NEVER apply it internally), then apply the Mountain Magic Liniment. The Liniment (because of the tiny, speedy essential oil molecules) pulls Bone Magic down into the body, while also increasing circulation and pulling out toxins.
Contents: Organic Palm Oil base, Comfrey, Lemongrass, Yellow Dock, Arnica and Tea Tree Essential Oil.
